Terms of Service
Last Updated: January 21, 2026
Welcome to SKA Spokane Masonry. By using our services or visiting our website, you agree to follow these terms. Please read them carefully before you hire us or contact us for work.
Services We Provide
We offer professional masonry services including brick repair, chimney work, tuckpointing, stone patios, retaining walls, and more. All services are performed by licensed and insured professionals. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel contracts if we determine a project is not safe or feasible.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide free written estimates for all projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Final pricing may change if project conditions differ from what we observed during the initial assessment. We will notify you of any price changes before proceeding with additional work. Payment terms are outlined in your project contract.
Project Timeline and Delays
We provide estimated completion dates based on typical conditions. Weather, material availability, and unforeseen site conditions may cause delays. We will communicate any delays as soon as we become aware of them. We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe access to the work area and notify us of any hazards or special conditions on your property. You are responsible for obtaining any permits required by local authorities unless we agree in writing to handle permits. You must also ensure that payment is made according to the agreed schedule.
Warranty and Guarantee
We stand behind our workmanship with a guarantee as specified in your project contract. This warranty covers defects in our labor but does not cover damage from improper maintenance, accidents, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship guarantee.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages. We carry insurance to protect both parties, and any claims should be directed to our insurance carrier when appropriate.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your project before work begins with written notice. If materials have been ordered or work has started, you may be responsible for costs already incurred. We reserve the right to cancel a project if you fail to meet payment obligations or if unsafe conditions prevent us from working.
Disputes and Resolution
If any disputes arise, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can work toward a fair solution. If we cannot resolve the matter informally, disputes will be handled according to the laws of Washington State. You agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continuing to use our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
